Robert Potamkin is co-chairman of The Potamkin Automotive Group. After graduating from University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, Robert went on to graduate from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and to clerk for Federal Judge A. Leon Higginbotham. Robert later received a Master’s Degree in Applied Psychology.
In 1989, along with his father Victor and his brother Alan, he co-founded the Potamkin Prize. Throughout his life, Robert has been a champion of education. In 1999 Robert established a scholarship at the University of Pennsylvania Law School for minority students of exceptional promise. In 2004, Robert and his wife Lexie founded the exceptional Fisher Island Day School.
Robert and Lexie are members of the United Way’s Million Dollar Roundtable, an organization which advocates for education, financial stability, and health in communities around the world.
